Residential Roofing

Asphalt. Steel. Standing seam.

Three proven residential roofing systems, one certified crew. Whether you want the value and color range of architectural asphalt, the lifetime durability of DECRA stone-coated steel, or the architectural lines of a standing seam metal roof — we install all three to spec.

Three systems

Pick the roof that fits your home and your timeline.

Architectural asphalt is the workhorse — proven, affordable, and available in dozens of colors. Stone-coated steel and standing seam metal are lifetime systems built to outlast asphalt two-to-one. We'll bring samples of all three to your free inspection.

Architectural asphalt

GAF Timberline HDZ or Owens Corning Duration.

Both are Class A fire-rated, algae-resistant architectural shingles backed by lifetime limited warranties. GAF's LayerLock fuses shingle layers for the industry's largest nailing zone; Owens Corning's SureNail uses a woven fabric strip for a triple-layer hold you can see. We install both as full systems — matched starter, underlayment, ridge vent, and accessories.

Full-system warranty

Eligible for GAF System Plus or OC Platinum — 50-year non-prorated workmanship + 130 mph wind.

Best color selection

Dozens of architectural colors and dimensional blends — easier to match HOA or historic palettes.

Faster install

Most homes install in a single day with full tear-off, deck inspection, and cleanup the same evening.

Insurance friendly

The default product for most MN homeowners policies — straightforward scope, fast approval.

DECRA stone-coated steel

A real steel roof that looks like shingle, shake, or tile.

DECRA invented stone-coated metal roofing in 1957 and has been refining it ever since. Each panel is heavy-gauge steel, formed into a profile, coated with acrylic-bonded stone granules, then kiln-fired. The result is a lifetime roof that looks like a premium asphalt or cedar product but shrugs off hail, fire, and 120 mph wind.

  • 50-year limited lifetime warranty
  • UL 2218 Class 4 impact resistance
  • 120 mph wind warranty
  • Class A fire rating
  • Walkable — won't crack or break
  • Made in the USA

Hail & fire rated

Class 4 impact + Class A fire — among the top hail-rated roofs you can install in Minnesota.

Built for MN winter

Stone-granule surface holds snow consistently and resists ice damming better than smooth metal.

Lifetime system

Most DECRA roofs outlive the home's siding and second-generation owners — a once-in-a-lifetime install.

Standing seam metal roof with raised vertical seams and concealed fasteners
Standing seam metal

Clean architectural lines. Zero exposed fasteners.

Standing seam is the premium metal roof — continuous panels that run from ridge to eave with raised vertical seams locked together over hidden clips. Because the fasteners are concealed, there are no screws or washers to back out, rust, or leak over time. The look is modern, clean, and recognizable from the road.

  • 24- or 26-gauge Galvalume steel
  • Kynar 500 / PVDF fade-resistant finish
  • Concealed clip-fastening — no screws
  • 1.5" or 1.75" mechanically seamed
  • Snow guards engineered to layout
  • Lifetime paint & substrate warranty
Spec-grade installation

Whichever system you choose, we build it to the manual.

Manufacturer warranties only apply when the roof is installed as a complete system — matched starter, underlayment, flashings, and accessories from the same product family. We never mix-and-match brands to shave dollars, because that's exactly what voids the coverage you paid for.

  • Full tear-off + decking inspection
  • Matched underlayment & ice/water shield
  • Manufacturer-spec fasteners & flashings
  • Engineered ventilation at ridge & soffit
  • Snow guards on metal where needed
  • Full warranty registration on your behalf

  • Free storm damage inspection
  • Adjuster meeting representation
  • Supplementing for code upgrades
  • Direct insurance billing available
  • Full tear-off + decking inspection
  • Post-installation final inspection
